The M1967 individual equipment belt was made from olive drab nylon webbing and featured a quick release T-Slot Davis fastener, similar to the buckle on the P64 Lightweight Rucksack  waist belt. It was issued in Medium and Large sizes and could be further adjusted at both ends. Essentially a nylon version of the M1956 belt, it was designed to be worn in conjunction with the M1967 suspenders in order to complete the base of the M1967 load carrying system.

The M1967 individual equipment belt represents a pivotal evolution in Vietnam-era load-carrying systems. Crafted from olive drab nylon webbing, this Large 41" belt features the distinctive quick-release T-Slot Davis fastener. Issued during the Vietnam War, it paired with M1967 suspenders to form the complete load-carrying foundation, succeeding the earlier M1956 webbing belt design.
