US Vietnam M1961 USMC Cartridge Belt Horizontal Weave 34" #5

The cotton M1961 belt expanded upon the M1936 design with a snap fastener between each of the middle row eyelets. Though the fasteners could technically be used to affix older generation Carbine or .45 ammunition pouches, they were designed to attach M1961 model M14 magazine pockets. The M1961 belt was typically worn in conjunction with the Marine Corps M1941 suspenders and pack system.

The M1961 USMC cartridge belt represents an evolution of Vietnam-era Marine Corps equipment. Featuring horizontal weave construction and snap fasteners positioned between middle-row eyelets, this 34" belt was engineered to secure M1961 M14 magazine pouches. Designed for use with M1941 suspenders and pack systems, it exemplifies authentic Marine Corps field gear from the Cold War period.
