US Vietnam 3rd Pattern Camo Poncho Liner Original Center Seam dated 1968.Great condition, some white marks that I think will clean up. One 2" tear hardly visible. You really have to search for it. That can also be repaired without it being visible.
The 3rd pattern poncho liner was made of quilted polyester batting sandwiched between two panels of ERDL camouflage rip-stop nylon fabric. Like its two predecessors it was equipped with eight tie tapes so that could be tied inside a poncho to be used as a sleeping bag. Soldiers rotating home from Vietnam often used the ERDL poncho liner as the material for their tour jackets.
